From hosting our first “Art House Show” in our living room to a 22,000sq foot warehouse in downtown Tulsa. We are growing and learning as co-founders, curators, and artist with Art House and the community.

This project will bring forward my background as a photographer, photo editor, and curator. I want to showcase all my visual artistic abilities in one project where the audience can see and understand the range I have as a visual artist.
I also want to use this opportunity to complete my chapter as a 2D visual artist as well. I see myself growing and utilizing my creativity in different forms and practices in the future and I want to give this chapter of my artistic life a proper send off.
This Project is inspired by Italian Vogue 2008 July “Black Issue”, showcasing only black models and black related articles.
In early May I had the pleasure of photographing @maureeturnerok for @them . Mauree Turner is the first publicly non-binary U.S. state lawmaker and first Muslim member of the Oklahoma Legislature.

This project is inspired by the DREAMERS. Those who were brought to the United States illegally as children. Those who were uprooted and replanted in an environment not common to us, but we are fucking flourishing.
