Today marks 10 years (to the day) that I’ve been growing my locs! What a journey it’s been! This hair has taught me so much about patience, maintenance, style, time, and a host of other things. Very proud of myself for sticking it out and taking the time to tend to something like growing my hair. Very grateful for my brother @locsbydiamond for holding me down in this journey, from retwisting to styling to coloring. Y’all tap in with him! If you’re thinking about taking on a loc journey, I say 100% do it. You will learn so so so much about yourself! It’s so rewarding! Been contemplating my next steps on my hair journey. Maybe we’ll go another 10, maybe we try something else! Stay tuned 🥂
