SET PHASERS TO STUN The Sidepieces hit tonight at 9pm at @hungrybrainchicago . We'll be joined by a roster of folks who are now bonafide regulars--Gus Martini (bass), Raul Cotaquispe (drums), Ryan Norris (keys), Matt Gold (guitar), Nolan Chin (piano), Angela James (vocals), Sam Cantor (vocals), Matt Scutchfield (fiddle) and Kelsey Wild (vocals). We've also got a few new members singing tomorrow: the one and only Jeanine O'Toole (of The 1900's and Golden Horse Ranch Band, and consummate/constant collaborator in the Chicago scene), and Izzy Olive, aka @halfgringa We'll be playing tunes by Gram Parsons, Gillian Welch, Kris Kristofferson, Freakwater, Angel Olsen, Lucinda Williams and others. One of the aforementioned artists *might* even be there to sing the song themselves, I'll let you guess who. Feel free to come and listen, or just sit on the back patio the entire time and enjoy prime Chicago weather!

Sidepieces hit the a Hungry Brain once again this Friday! We'll be joined by two new members singing with us this time: Jeanine O'Toole and Half Gringa (Izzy Olive). Two sets of loose country tunes!
