Anyone and everyone who loved Jesse, knew Jesse, had an interesting conversation with Jesse, or even just sat down the bar from him is welcome to come and share a memory, a laugh, a song, and raise a glass to him. It would make him smile to see us all sharing space.

For those of you who don’t know yet, we are so sorry for you to find out in this way. Last week we lost a dear friend, Jesse Rosenthal, to cancer.
Jesse was such an integral member of the Cat House community it is hard to imagine this space without him. In the 7 years we’ve had the privilege of knowing Jesse, he has so purely, lovingly, and effortlessly represented what it is to be a part of a community, an ear to listen, a stranger to connect with in a deeply meaningful way, a wildly interesting artist and musician to learn something new from, a contagious smile, a new friend to make, an old friend to hug, a friend.
We are giving his family and close friends some space and time to absorb the impact of this colosal loss in whatever way they can, but will be hosting a celebration of life in the coming month, most likely Dec 9th, open to all who loved him, or had a cool conversation with him once, or even just recognize his face. He’d want you all to be together.
Rest easy, brother. You are sorely missed and will forever continue to inspire love, music, laughter, and (against our wills!) shots of Jameson ♥️
