Hello, my name is Meggie. I have been fishing since I was little. I've been fishing a lot more since I met my husband in 2015. We share so many memories together with our adventures!! I love going to ponds and rivers because there is a lot of hiking involved! I love to get my steps in! I also love being on the boat and the kayak! If I had to choose, it might just be the kayak! You have to walk and drag your kayak to your destination. The relaxing part is, sitting or standing on the kayak while fishing and seeing the beauty of nature! And seeing those beautiful sunrises and sunsets! My favorite species to catch I would say would be, oh my that's a hard one! Between striper, steelhead, saugeye, walleye, smallmouth bass and bluegill! Catching bluegill, it's like a fish in every cast! I love it! I like a challenge! And fishing for big fish is a challenge! I live around freshwater, so fishing saltwater is so cool because you never know what you're going to catch.
Unlike freshwater, you'll know what you're getting on, more than likely. I work with River Rat Lures and help sponsor Venom Lures. I support local businesses! I also focus on my personal development and mindset! I struggle with mental health, so getting out in nature, really helps me! One of my bucket lists is to go on a house boat and stay on the water and fish for about a week! In 2024, I'd like to catch my PBs in a lot of species! Such as, smallmouth, striper, bluegill, largemouth and steelhead in freshwater and my PB in saltwater would be shark and mahi-mahi! I haven't caught a mahi-mahi and that's also on my bucket list! I absolutely love that my husband and I share such great memories and we adventure together! Follow him on his adventures as well,
