#GivingTuesday ❤️ While giving can happen every day, GivingTuesday is the day when the world comes together to celebrate generosity and kindness. A lot of big corporations match our donation, some even triple it. There are so many ways to give - whether it’s helping a neighbour, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes. Everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts. A smile can change someone’s life. How are you sharing your generosity today? This holiday season, my friends and I are collecting new, unwrapped toys/presents for The Wish program, @cp24chumchristmaswish And today only, we have a generous sponsor who will match our donations! Please check out @kidstokids.runwayofhope and help double our Toy Drive today, if you can. Thank you so much! @givingtuesday @givingtuesdayca

#LestWeForget 🇨🇦 It’s the Remembrance Day weekend, and I’m very honoured to have had opportunities to express my gratitude and appreciation to the veterans, military personnel, and their families. 📸#1 - Mr. Mayor @mayorcamguthrie of @cityofguelph and I as we were getting ready to lay the city’s wreath at the ceremony. Thank you so much to Mr. Mayor for this picture. 🎥#2 - The @121redarrows air cadets marching down the street of Guelph. I’m the one with white belt behind the band. 📸#3 - Standing vigil at the Cenotaph the night before. —- “For the Fallen” by Laurence Binyon They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. @royalcanadianlegion

#GetYourPoppy November 11th is Remembrance Day. One way for us to show our appreciation to the veterans is by wearing a Poppy close to our heart. Right now, the poppies are being distributed across Canada at no cost, though your donation is much, much appreciated. Today, thanks to the generosity of @stoneroadmall , we were allowed to be inside the mall, giving out poppies to shoppers and trick-or-treaters (yes, it’s the Halloween weekend! 👻). So many little princesses, vampires, police officers, unicorns, and many other wonderful creatures were wearing our poppies. Even #Spiderman himself came to support our veterans. 🤩 Did you know?… Every Poppy has a story to tell, and you can discover them all with “Poppy Stories”. Scan your Poppy at https://www.poppystories.ca/ and learn about the story of your veteran. Learn where they grew up, who their families were, their pre-war careers, and even some of their passions and interests. It is our sincerest hope that Poppy Stories will give Canadians insight into the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. #LestWeForget @royalcanadianlegion @cadetsca

✈️ #TimeBuilding Once licensed, the next step for pilots is “time-building”, which is flying more to accumulate time to meet the next requirements. My goal right now is to become a glider instructor during the summer months (after I have turned 18). I need about 15.5 hours more before I can apply for a glider instructor course, so for now, I shall time-build. This selfie 🤳 was from yesterday, as I was getting ready to fly…

On August 25th, after 7 weeks away from home, I received my Glider Pilot wing from Brigadier-General Brais, and officially became a licensed glider pilot. Our graduation ceremony ended with the super fun Airman’s Line dance. What a day! 👩‍✈️ Thank you very much to The Air Cadet program for this scholarship. I have made many new friends who, honestly, are now like a family. I’m very, very grateful for the opportunity. 🙏

I hope you’re enjoying the summer. I’m enjoying being busy at camp, learning how to fly a glider. Today is my first day off since last Sunday. I’m busy, but I’m happy. 😊 * This shot has nothing to do with camp. It was taken the day before I left home for camp. 😆

I hope you enjoy watching the Drum Salute, brought to you by the @121redarrows Air Cadets squadron, as much as I enjoy being a part of the band. 🥁 I’m the tenor drummer on the far left. 😊🥁

🎶 I found my happy place…🎶 Last week, I got a chance to go out west and visit the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. I think I have found my happy place… @universityofbc It’s 3,300 kms from home, but while I was there, the student ambassador who showed me around was from a town very close to mine, and the university adviser who spoke to me after the tour was actually a graduate from my high school! How crazy is that! We even have the same biology teacher. I felt right at home. 🥰 I was only out there for 4 days, but the weather was glorious, so got some great hiking and sightseeing in. I fell in love with @lynncanyonpark and @granvilleisland_publicmarket , and really enjoyed exploring Steveston Fisherman Wharf, and Stanley Park. So many things to see and do, and so little time. Till we meet again, @vancouver

Last Sunday, May 28th, I got a chance to be a part of the #k2ktoronto team that built a playground 🛝 for a very special little man called Emerson. Emerson is 4 years old. He’s happy, smiley, and super chatty. He is sooo cute. Under all the cuteness lies his unbelievable strength. Emerson is combatting high-risk Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, and spending much of the past year in treatments. I’m so, so happy that we can give him this playground to enjoy whenever he’s home. If you are 4-18 years old, living in or near Toronto, and interested in being a part of a tight-knitted group of people your age who have a passion for raising funds to give back to our community, please reach out to @kidstokids.runwayofhope I assure you it’s a very fulfilling mission that makes your heart very happy. Emerson’s playground is the 3rd playground K2K has built with @milliondollarsmilesnfp I’m so looking forward to many more to come.

Celtics the #Mascot Got to make some 2nd graders happy yesterday. 😁🛡️ This was the second time I got to be a mascot. The first time, I was a 🧸 for @milliondollarsmilesnfp , doing a car parade and dropping in on a few families with young children during Covid. I actually really enjoyed it, even though it was a bit 🥵 under the costume. Mascots always bring a smile to people’s faces. I got so many high-fives and hugs yesterday. 🤗
