TRC are proud to release Forest Law’s debut album, “Zero.”
This project is a subtle journey into the artist’s musical universe: jazz, MPB, psychedelic, electronic music, and more.
On his debut album-recorded in miscellaneous locations, from Icelandic fish net factories, to the warm shores of Portugal, and a garden-shed in Romford.
British multi instrumentalist producer Forest Law crafts a slice of Balearic funk and urban Tropicalia. Centred around his adept, Bossa Nova-influenced guitar playing, old school sampling, and UK-styled beats, and played alongside his mellow, yet sombre vocal work, Zero is innovative, and inspired.
We are stoked to be co-releasing this gem with Geneva Record shop turned venue and label @bongojoerecords .

@floating_world_pictures_ , the ‘Loud Ambient’ project from @chestynutt (@snappedankles ) and and graphic/sound artist & instrument builder @raimundwong , have teamed up with Jon Tye’s @ocean_moon_ , and they invite you to come and celebrate the release of their forthcoming cassette album with an evening of deep, resonant sonic explorations through live music and DJ sets.
Mystical, new age, ambient soundscapes born of psychic improvisation and excursions into worlds lost in mist, intertwine seamlessly with fragments of found dialogue, melodies and environmental sounds, cassette tape loop manipulations, live dub/effects and analogue synthesis. The self-titled cassette album comprises two EPs, each of which will be separately available digitally, in the lead up.

Born out of the essentiality of this moment in our collective histories, Hazaz is a North African/ Southwest Asian-centred creative dimension engaged in reimagining the future.
Hazaz co-creates organically evolving, immersive, shared experiences of psychological liberation, playful experimentation, and catharsis for all through music, art and film.

Khyam Allami is an Iraqi-British multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, researcher and founder of Nawa Recordings. His artistic research and practice explores experimental composition and improvisation based on, and inspired by, the fundamentals of Arabic music and culture.
Jaar is a Chilean-American electronica musician whose work has spanned various shades of pop, ambient, noise, and club music. In recent years, he has mainly focused on education, teaching sound-editing and listening workshops to emerging musicians and non-musicians alike in institutions such as the Museo de la Memoria in Santiago, Chile, Akademie Der Kunst in Munich, Germany, free.wav in Attappadi, India, Festival 4x4, Chiapas, Mexico, Dar Jacir and Alrowwad Center in Bethlehem, Palestine, among others. His latest album entitled “Telas” was released in 2020 through “Other People”, the imprint he founded in 2013.
Nicolas Baviere is a visual media composer and performer. Over the years, he has developed a distinct style, collaborating with musicians in post-punk, fusion, and electro-acoustic genres.
Today, he blends sound design with classical and electronic music to craft unique cinematic textures.

Following the debut single Why You Lied, we are happy to share a second glimpse of Forest Law upcoming project “Zero”. We’re co-releasing this gem with our pals Bongo Joe from Geneva who’ll be joining us for the album launch .
“Til The…” is another example of Forest Law’s workflow. Building up a track with layers of sounds, loops, and samples, he produces a subtle sonic tapestry to serve sweet vocals and groovy toplines. With its broken breaks, groove basslines, Eastern bells, and Japanese vocals made by Ami Koda, that intersperse with Forest Law’s own voice, creating a beautiful and dissonant melody, “Til The...” is a real gem of producing.

Released in collaboration with the legendary Geneva Record shop turned venue and label @bongojoerecords , this project is a subtle journey into the artist’s musical universe: jazz, MPB, psychedelic, electronic music, and more.
The first single “Why You Lied” is the perfect example of Forest Law’s sonic identity. Built around an irresistible flute riff and a hip-hop-inflected drum machine, the instrumental provides the perfect backdrop for Forest Law to develop his unique vocal soulful style. A certified head bopper!
