Prof. Takalani Mashau is the Deputy Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education at the University of Venda. He holds a Doctrine of Education Degree specializing in Comparative Education and a Master of Education from the University of Potchefstroom (University of North-West).
In 2013, Prof. Mashau participated in the Study of U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) program at the University of New York, focusing on Multicultural Education. The literature he collected there enabled him to publish several influential papers in the field. The SUSI program was instrumental in his academic advancement, contributing significantly to his current role at the University of Venda.
Beyond academia, Prof. Mashau enjoys soccer and relaxes by watching English and local Premier League games.

As an FSNI, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel and facilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting security investigations, maintaining liaison with local police and other security and law enforcement officials, and assisting the RSO team in coordinating protection for post personnel and visiting U.S. government officials.
