As promised here is the best Banana Cake recipe.
I make one cake like a banana upside-down cake & in the second one I add dollops of molten chocolate.
Mix 4 ripe bananas, mashed
3 eggs, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp each baking pwd
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp good quality vanilla
1 cup melted butter (2 sticks)
Sift 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons cornstarch & mix.
Bake in preheated 350 F for about 50 mins.
Top it with salted caramel to make it more indulgent. 🍌

It takes a million hands to feed a child…
From the strong hand that ploughs, to the precise hands that sow
From the loving hand that waters and waits for the sprout to grow
From the nimble hand that cleans, to the rough hands that grinds
From the experienced hand that pack, to vendor's hand that binds
From the sturdy hand that kneads, to the practiced hand that rolls
From the careful hand that begins to cook and nurtures our souls
And finally to that loving wrinkled hand which gently breaks away
A little piece of bread and blows cold air to make it cool everyday
And begins to tell the folklore of imaginary sparrows that flew afar
To the immortal heroes, angels and fairies that live on a distant star
The mythical men who attained magical strength when they ate
She ran after the little princess everywhere, still holding the plate
Then a little mind that travels a distant journey and suddenly stops
And a little morsel is eaten, completing the journey of divine crops
Even God’s mothers also had to run after them for this sacred chase
A new Sun brings a new cycle of love, full of gratitude and grace
It takes a million hands to feed a child…

As we head to Washington DC in a few hours.
It’s been a long journey that has lead us to these events that will change history.
I will be testifying to the US Congress to raise awareness & pass a bill for the empowerment of widows around the World along with Former First Lady of Malawi now High Commissioner Callista Mutharika. And Katrina Fotovat of Us state Department, @zainashercnn anchor @cnn International & Karen Fowler of pour les femmes.
As a Goodwill Ambassador for Global Funds for Widows, I’m thankful to the Universe for giving me this opportunity.
The house foreign affairs committee submits a resolution on widowhood.
This resolution will identify and protect their rights and create appropriation within US aid dedicated this group.
Wish us luck & say a prayer. It has the power & we all know it.
