If you can relate to this, I feel you and have been there before too. The next time you find yourself triggered, try taking a deep breath, pausing and then responding honestly sharing where you’re at. ✨ It may look like bringing up that you feel triggered. Or that you don’t know why exactly but you don’t feel great. Share what you need and would like such as ending the conversation or taking a break. Or if you don’t want to or can’t explain, simply state what you need. 👉 What do you normally do when you get triggered? Are you able to keep your cool? Or do you tend to explode? Have you laughed lately? 🌻 Maybe it hasn’t been easy to find much to laugh about recently BUT I still wanted to encourage you to have a good laugh given all its benefits 🤣⁠ .⁠ ⁠ Benefits of laughing include reducing stress hormones, relieving pain, increasing immunity and more. ✔️ It can help in boosting your mood, providing an emotional and physical release, connecting you with others and enhancing personal satisfaction. ✔️ Plus, laughing is free and convenient! 👏🏼⁠ .⁠ ⁠ Here are some ways to add laughter to your life ⤵️⁠ .⁠ ⁠ 👉🏻 Funny movies, shows, books, tricks, etc… 📺📖⁠ ⁠ 👉🏻 Jokes and memes 🤡⁠ 👉🏻 Laughing over funny memories or antics with friends and family 👪⁠ ⁠ 👉🏻 Playing fun games 🎮🎲⁠ ⁠ 👉🏻 Finding humor in life. Look at mistakes, frustrations or memories from a different perspective and see if you’re able to laugh and think of it as a funny story to tell your friends. 👓🔄⁠ ⁠ 👉🏻 Fake it. The body can’t tell the difference between laughter coming from humor or laughter you start doing on purpose.
