After nearly a decade of work to bring Wondercade to reality, it’s time for us to embark on our next adventure. While we’re sad to say goodbye to our time at the arcade, this is good news for you—our day one fans! Wondercade will be in great hands under the stewardship of Newstep Properties - Ready Player 2 ;) Newstep owns the buildings that both Wondercade and Game n’Groove call home and they’re committed to keeping these spaces flourishing. And even better, Newstep has hired longtime Wondercade employee Jc Statt to take the reins for this new era! Beyond being a gaming enthusiast, Jc is a game designer themselves and they’ll bring that same commitment to great gaming experiences to the future of Wondercade.
We want to express our deep gratitude for the way you’ve embraced us and our vision over the years. We hatched the crazy idea for Wondercade so long ago, and it’s been a wild ride building the space, hunting down rare games and finally inviting you in! We’ve made many new friends and shared incredible, unforgettable experiences along the way. To all the partiers - thank you for celebrating with us! To all the players, young and old, you’ll be the real winners in our book forever. Game on!
