What the “RAW” campaign is about.
It’s about breaking the veneer of the cultural demands of self image that gets pushed on us everyday and urges toward finding the raw, real you. A journey of self discovery allowing your authentic and vulnerable self to come out.
I’ll be photographing people in a much more intimate and moody way that will show a depth that most people don’t get to see. It’ll be 100 men and women, all ages. At the end I will host the biggest gallery event I have ever done either in DTLA or Vegas. This is near and dear to my heart and I wanna push for people to get away from the idea of perfection and come to a place of self acceptance which originates confidence.
I’m hoping to encapsulate the transformation people experience through being Infront of my lens and share their inner stories that people don’t often ask about.
This is going to be a powerful experience and a once in a lifetime project to be a part of.

“I found Zach through a mutual follower on Instagram with a love for great photography and art like myself. As I perused through his profile, I found his #30over30campaign , and a bold move hit me. I messaged Zach and decided to do something completely out of the ordinary for me.
Contrary to my job as a critical care nurse and being a business owner, I am ridiculously shy and introverted. I also struggle with battling the feeling of always being people’s second choice, or just not quite good enough— which leads me to overthink everything and gives me a distorted outlook of myself. Zach’s campaign gave me a chance to showcase a side most people (even myself) don’t see. My shoot with Zach gave me a chance to show myself a reflection of what a successful 35 year old woman looks like…flaws and all.
Zach’s open minded personality helped me just have fun and love the beautiful side of myself. The lighting and background he used worked so well to enhance my personality through his pictures and captivated me enough, that even I couldn’t stop looking at the finished product. Most important, being a part of this campaign gave me something that was just for me and gave me a physical reminder of what beauty, success, and confidence—despite struggles— looks like and I hope it inspires others to take a shot and love themselves.“
