Because I’m so fixated on the possibility of failure(s), I’ll make two. The pedestal is meant to function as a storage compartment for little keepsakes… maybe even words of encouragement written on pieces of paper, funny memories, etc… My wife showed me a video of Lanie lying on our couch, gazing out our back doors on a beautifully sunny day. It was a year or so ago. The windows were open; the wind was blowing gently. As the camera was on Lanie basking in her own contentment, I noticed ‘Harvest Moon’ was playing in the background. The moment was unbelievably perfect. Now, I can’t listen to the song without getting teary-eyed. That’s okay. I’ll cross Rainbow Bridge one day. Presenting: stop-motion footage of a closed form with quite the appetite. Creating this video required the compilation of 102 photos, played at intervals of one-tenth of a second. Some are easily overlooked, while others will absolutely let you know when something isn’t quite right. These babies were screamin’ for a changin’! After years of tension and friction, I finally wore through my double pedal’s original rocker hub bearings. The right side stroke adjuster was pretty toasty, too. I’ve been doing some work in the same position for some time, today. It was time to play and get my body moving.
