This time last year I hit up a couple of friends to see if they wanted to screen their shorts… It somehow snowballed into “Your Friends Short Film” - a screening that sold out the biggest theatre in Pasadena. Incredibly, all 9 original filmmakers, and a handful more have all made new shorts despite much adversity, and we’ve decided to bring it back for a second year! Please join us for “Your Friends Short Film 2”.
This is a completely free screening, this year we have the biggest screen at LOOK Glendale with a red carpet at Q&A! RSVP is required for entry, tap in now using the link in my bio. Seating is first come, first serve, Doors at 6:40, screening at 7, Q&A to follow. Reception and networking will happen after the screening at the LOOK Bar!
This will be the first theatrical screening of PETUNIA. Be there or be ◼️ - DM with any Q’s.
Life is really crazy sometimes. I grew up reading @nofilmschool articles religiously, constantly being inspired and motivated by them. Today I’m so happy to return the favor and chat a bit about making my latest short @petunia.sf
Beyond my incredible cast and crew, I’m so so thankful to the incredible @alyssa.m.miller for giving me this platform and helping me fulfill a childhood dream. You’re incredible Alyssa!!

steel city, glass heart
I found a roll of Kodak Gold 400 from @berniesphotocenter that expired in 1990. My Grandpa Arthur was a hobbyist photographer and it felt surreal that he may have brushed past the very same roll of film. I wish we could have met and captured his city together, but I’m so glad my Nana can still recount his stories to me ❤️
