Did you know that July 4th is the day to commemorate the time when English writer Lewis Carroll, known then as Charles Lutwidge Dodson first told the story to Alice Liddell, the daughter of Henry Liddell, an author? The story first thought of as a made up story he told to her and her two sisters back in 1862, about a girl named Alice who fell down a rabbit hole and met all kinds of peculiar creatures. Eventually, Dodgson aka Carroll wrote the story on paper and published it 3 years later in 1865. Since then, it has been turned into a beloved story that has been adapted into numerous movies and productions, and the book itself has even been translated in nearly 200 languages. Today, I got to showcase the story as a scrapbook spread honoring the 1951 Disney animated version of the story!
