Former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright empowered people worldwide, especially women and girls. The Study of the U.S. Institutes Madeleine K. Albright Young Women Leaders Program continues her legacy by bringing together six American and 80 international undergraduate women from 21 countries for academic exchange in the U.S. Throughout the program, participants will engage in coursework, community service, leadership development, and cultural activities. A special reception was held at @georgetownuniversity to honor her legacy and celebrate the impact of the program and Secretary Albright's contributions to global leadership.

A pin is worth a thousand words and Secretary Albright used them to convey messages in her role as Secretary of State. From flowers to eagles, each pin had a story and a purpose.
