Yesterday I had the pleasure of partnering up with
@mptours to attend and present at the RTO ERO Travel Show in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
We arrived early to set up before meeting loads of eager travellers. This crowd LOVES to travel! We talked with people who have been all over the world and are keen to explore even more.
Fun fact: I used to work at a lot of events similar to this when I lived in Dublin!
It’s always fun connecting with fellow tourism colleagues at these events as well. There were some familiar faces, like the team from
@flyykf and the brand new
@aircanada coach bus, as well as Juanita from
@strollwalkingtours . Of course, it’s always great to see
@gadventures and
@flairairlines , as well as a very cool local company called Fields Trips.
A few tour companies that I hadn’t heard of before caught my eye and I thought I’d pass them on to you.
@hxhurtigrutenexpeditions
With 2 award-winning sustainable cruise ships that have hands-on Science & Education programs on board, they might convince me to become a cruiser after all. They have been offering tours for over 130 years. WILD! You wouldn’t have to twist my arm to experience one of their unique ships!
@john_ritvacations RIT - Royal Irish Tours
Need I say more? (Okay, well I suppose it would be helpful to share that they travel to Scotland, England, and Wales too. RIT offers coach tours, sightseeing tours, self-driving itineraries, and a whole host of other travel services. Let’s be honest though, they had me at “Irish” and I only just returned 2 weeks ago!)
Socially Responsible Safaris
With 17 tours around Africa, owners Ryan and Liza’s goals is to create positive change, inspire dialogue, and support cross-cultural learning on their trips. The accommodation is eco-friendly, travellers plant trees to counter environmental footprints, and in addition to witnessing majestic wildlife, there’s a focus on local food and communities. I did have visiting 2 new continents on my 2024 goals list and I’ve already crossed off one, so sign me up!
Thanks for joining me on this day in the life of a travel blogger!
