Normalising real skin…
What we wake up with in the morning, the bumps, the wrinkles, the sun spots, the freckles, blotchiness and the texture. Now I’m not a total purist and I like to make the best of what I have without totally changing things, I love a little botox, skin actives and the odd facial. And of course makeup!
But I also love real skin without products, makeup and defiantly before filters and airbrushing. Its the largest organ on our bodies and comes in every shade you can think of, some are tough and some are really sensitive and the most amazing thing is it heals itself everyday.
Yet we live in a world where skin is shamed if its not just perfect. The media pushes perfection and this brings insecurities. So let’s normalise texture, bumps, sun spots, pores etc as it’s all normal, let’s be proud not ashamed about the skin we live in. 👉🏻♥️👈🏻

A Day for All…
Wedding glam, and why men deserve makeup too! ✨
This day was such a special one - the lovely Scott & Gabriel’s wedding! Double the grooms, double the fun (and the makeup!) 👉🏻♥️👈🏻
Scott opted for a full makeup look, we focused on evening the skin tone, minimising shine, and adding definition to his brows and features. Just gorgeous.
Gabriel preferred a more natural look, so we did a bit of concealing and grooming to enhance his handsomeness.
But here’s the thing - both approaches are totally valid. Men deserve to feel confident and look their best on special occasions (or any day, for that matter!).
Why men in makeup:
Even Skin Tone: Just like everyone else, men can have blemishes, redness, or uneven skin tone, makeup helps even things out.
Confidence Boost: A little makeup can go a long way in making someone feel polished and put-together.
It’s Not About Femininity: Makeup is about self-expression. It has no gender!

Huge shoutout to my amazing pal @tracykbarber for finding the cutest little glamping getaway @littleelses for a cheeky night away to recharge and relax, the summer grind is real. We were so lucky with the weather, just glorious! It was just what we both needed to unwind and come back feeling refreshed, I actually could kinda live there!

Brown Liquid liner Love…
Remember the ashy brown eyeliner struggles of the 80’s? Thankfully, makeup has come a LONG way, and this brown liquid liner is a total game-changer!
Here’s a few tips that may help if you struggle with application:
1: Before you grab your liner, apply a thin coat of mascara! This creates a guide for your liner to follow, making it easier to get a clean, even line.
2: Instead of drawing a continuous line from the start, make tiny dots along your lash line. Starting where your lashes begin and follow it out to just above where they end. Then simply connect the dots!
3: Ditch the “point” mentality! Lay your eyeliner flat against your lash line and gently press don’t drag to create a smooth, even line. This gives more control and avoids those shaky thin lines.
4: Want a subtle wing? At the outer corner of your lash line, stamp the liner pointing upwards. This creates a small wing you can then connect to the rest of your liner.
Here I used @lorealparis Perfect Slim Eyeliner in 03 Brown, and its waterproof!
