Toying with the familiar but not afraid to break with expectations, AVEM presents a versatile range of works that make up his debut LP.
Dream State was largely written and produced in times of the pandemic, specifically during Lockdown periods — a context that grants the album an air of melancholic isolation. Offering seven songs on a double LP, it marks the collective imprint LOKD’s vinyl premiere.
Merging sounds of Electronica, House and Techno, LOKDLP001 finds its place neatly outside of common categories.

Es fühlt sich an wie eine Ewigkeit - jetzt ist es Zeit für eine Heimkehr. Ohne Orte wie die Lady Bar, die Holzbrücke in Münchenstein oder den Holzpark Klybeck gäbe es LOKD heute nicht. Unvergessen bleibt das sechs Stunden Set von Sutsche zu unserem zweijährigen Geburtstag im Holzturm oder das Liveset von Cascandy zum einjährigen im Korsar - beides auf dem Holzpark, beides eine Ewigkeit her.

Endlich! Ein Wiedersehen mit ɔst'end steht an - unsere Leipziger Freund:innen kommen in Vertretung von Daensen & Chaos Katy aus dem Osten gen Süden. Clits mit Sticks haben zwar eine kürzere Anreise, werden die Baustelle dafür umso intensiver bearbeiten. Und weils beim letzten Mal so schön war, treffen sich Gina Sabatini AVEM wieder hinterm Dj Booth für ein b2b der ersten Güteklasse. Vorbereitet wird der Abend von Pawlikowski - er eröffnet ab 22 Uhr das Line-Up, auf das wir lange gewartet haben.
Dementsprechend gross ist unsere Vorfreude auf diese Nacht!

Die Verbindung von Kulinarik und Musik ist wie Liebe auf den ersten Blick – zuerst das wohlige Gefühl in der Magengegend nur um danach in glückseliger Euphorie in der Dunkelheit der Nacht zu versinken.
Genug der poetischen Worte, kommen wir zum Wesentlichen: 𝗢/𝗬 nimmt uns mit auf eine ausgedehnte, mindestens dreistündige Reise. Dafür schaffen wir inmitten des Clubraums eine Insel, auf der Jakob sein einzigartiges Live-Set mit uns allen teilen kann. Die Nähe schafft Begegnung und ist die Basis für eine lebendige Atmosphäre.
Das Programm im Detail: Gönn dir um 19 Uhr einen asiatisch inspirierten 3-Gänger, begleitet von entspannten Klängen von wémba, um dann ab 21 Uhr mit 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 & einem süssen Dessert verwöhnt zu werden. Der Club-Floor mit Visuals von 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 eröffnet um 23 Uhr mit 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮, während 𝗷𝗼𝘅𝘅 im Restaurant sicherstellt, dass beim Abwasch ordentlich getanzt wird - und dann bitte ab 01 Uhr: All eyes on 𝗢/𝗬.

Kurz gesagt: Der Abend beginnt locker, steigert sich euphorisch zum Höhepunkt und endet ausgelassen mit dem Morgenerwachen.
