This special event is dedicated to honoring the rich history and contributions of African American players and fans to the game of baseball, such as Joshua [Josh] Gibson.
Gibson was known as one of the greatest power hitters of all time. His talent and accomplishments on the field remain unparalleled. On May 28th, Major League Baseball incorporated the statistics of former Negro League players into its historical records.
🏆 Gibson's Career Achievements:
★ Over 800 career home runs.
★ All-time career leader with a .372 batting average.
★ All-time career leader in slugging percentage.
★ Known as the “Black Babe Ruth”
★ Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.
I am pulling up at ERRC from week-to-week to test out my speed, endurance, and new sneakers on their route. The steady incline for the first mile and a half makes for a formidable run. Nevertheless, I was able to push through and maintain a respectable pace. Afterward, I stick around and enjoy the vibes.
Regarding my sneakers, I love the @saucony brand, especially the Endorphin Speed model. It's stylish, has a good bounce, and doesn't have an overly aggressive propulsion system like the new racing sneakers. They're great for tempo training and fast runs, in my opinion.
However, come race day, I'm rolling with @hoka Cielo for long distances and the Nike Zoom Tempo for shorter races. I ran in the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 for Week One and followed up with the HOKA Cielo X1 in Week Two.

I took the Cloudmonster Hyper on a 3-mile tour through Echo Park with @lsd_running .
I'm partial to Saucony at my daily trainer and distance running shoe versus other brands. However, I always liked the style and aesthetic of the @on brand. Now, I can say with confidence that this sneaker equally looks great and performs well.
