It has been a pretty wild ride over the past 8 years - I couldn’t have imagined in my wildest dreams that what started as a fun project would keep us busy for such a long time. Through this project, I have met so many amazing souls, found so much good music, and discovered countless nice and weird places. @variainstruments has allowed me to explore my passion for good sound and music as part of my everyday life. Seriously, what more could I ask for?
Thanks to everybody who has been part of the journey, to the many helping hands, friends, supporters, and customers. What a pleasure it is to make this world sound a tiny bit better.

Spring is here, and it feels like the perfect time to finally complete my latest project. Over the past two years, I’ve been working on this architectural outdoor armchair, which now sits on my terrace. The inspiration for this project comes from a deep fascination with translucent glass bricks and the architecture of the past century. To accentuate the beauty of the bricks, I chose to frame them with hot-dip galvanized steel, a material commonly used in outdoor fixtures like stair railings and ventilation elements.
I will share some more photos in the coming weeks of the whole process and inspiration.

Last weekend was dedicated to music and friendship. I had the pleasure of being invited by @emelism45 to her @soulsketchesbasel radio show. We delved into discussions about music and DJing (mostly in Swiss German, my apologies!), and I curated a Selectors Choice mix featuring some beautiful yet unconventional dance tracks.
Later in the day, we embarked on an all-night DJ session alongside our wonderful friend @pinto.galli.fecit . It was truly a treat!

New shirt inspired by the workwear of the past century. This piece pays homage to the legendary 1005B horn by American speaker manufacturer Altec. The design was a collaboration with @simon.j.frank . The cut, production of both the shirt and pants, as well as the embroidery, were done by yours truly.
London & Paris was so sweet. Good sound, good music, good food, good wine, good weather. Now let‘s get back in the workshop and build the next mixers! 🪛🔧
Now that my records are cleaned and in tiptop shape, I‘m looking forward to playing them in some beautiful places. See you on the dancefloor!

My last radio show at Radio Bounce is now up in the cloud. This show means a lot to me since it‘s the first time I‘m presenting a mix which goes in a new direction on my musical horizon: The sound of silence, as Chick Corea would probably call it. I‘ve began to do Yoga earlier this year (best decision! Merci @meret_terem !) and so I started collecting calm tunes to play them on the speakers during the sessions at home.
