Not sure what I think of my face on this pic but the last few days of 2023, I was especially proud of Zurich. Ozelot studios united different DJ bubbles and we all together collected almost 6k which were directly donated. This was one of the very few actions I saw in the local scene around DJs and producers. Thank you @ozelotltd @prl_ozelot @manuelfischer_ozelot @etienne_ozelot , Abdel @geentaz @halalkittyy & Carlo for giving so much effort into this project and including me as well. - Our ad-hoc b2b with @bonnie_ohne_kleid from 30.12.2023 is up on Soundcloud, maybe for a listen, maybe as a statement, maybe as a throwback. Link in bio under podcasts. - I want to point out that it is important to compliment and support signs of investing energy into this topic, as much as people can invest according to their capacities and circumstances and not judge and neglect the steps. Did you ever question what could be behind? If an answer to that is unknown to you, take a breath and acknowledge the known. It might be far from perfect. To me it’s kinda scary to be aware of the judgements and harshness which lead to again a polarized separation if you do not perform a perfection or don’t fill all the checks that someone created for you to do, when it comes to showing solidarity. Well, this is definitely, on an objective view, again kinda wrong. Don’t let that discourage you in expressing your individual way of solidarity and sensitivity according to your possibilities. It’s great that way: you can’t know everything nor do everything. Judgements, based on a level which is opposite of fundamental, are not to stop you doing your way. Solidarity is good. It felt great to be back in Berlin after a longer break: got to find some juicy records for the upcoming gigs and heard tons of good music. This weekend coming to @motel_campo in Geneva and next weekend looking forward to doing an all-nighter for my residency at @stereozurich where I play soulful, funky, disco and tons of garage tunes I don’t get to play often in the clubs. Excited (and a bit nervous) to start spinning records in front of the crowd though so come, be kind and pretend it works well🥲 Later this month @tanzen6000 is back at @kauzzuerich with Zeynep, Desire, Jenny Cara and Playground, before heading to London to get lost in those amazing record stores with a quick pitstop in Amsterdam ‘s @nachbar_169 for my first gig in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. I am very much looking forward to this one (and grabbing some deep-fried snacks after, hoho). Wahu! It’s really exciting to travel for music, as a DJ and for a field research 🔬 2024 is giving, I‘m giving it back. Life is beautiful, spring even more! Ui, you’ll be missed big time. It felt so united and these 5 hours went by too quickly! One of my best closing sets and playing experiences so far. Today is my birthday and I couldn’t have wished more than what I already have now. 🌸 Last weekend was wonderful 😭 thanks for being around, understanding, willing, contributing, sharing, caring, listening, inspiring, being silly and giving me muscle ache from laughing. My energy is drained but it was worth to the last bit of it. tanzen6000 was the highlight and sharing moments with you all who joined is a true blessing 😭 I was exposed to a new feeling or a little sad maybe not to see some people i considered close to me but hey, new year brings new moments to re-question where my energy is to be invested in future and the answer is clarifying throughout such experiences.
