@rinalipa @garrettwareing I feel like I know you so well having edited you for so long. Not a lot of people will understand the affection that an editor can feel.
When
@garrettwareing and
@rinalipa sat at the table for the first time, I asked to start with the written lines and then continue improvising until I’d call “cut”.
Only one bite of improv made the cut but still this exercise was preparatory for both myself and the actors to finding out what this was. It was so fascinating to see the thinking process behind the choices of two actors that with absolutely no prep, no rehearsals and no context, where asked to perform a script that made little to no sense to them.
