I can’t believe today it’s already one year.
I miss you every moment, I miss you with every single beat of my heart, I miss every moment I had the immense privilege of spending with you! You protected me, you guided me, you watched over me and you gave me a home where before there was only a place where I happened to live, you gave meaning to my life!
You where the better part of my soul and you defined the better part of me, everyone I met, had the joy of meeting you first, because you ran towards them to greet them with love. I am forever grateful to you for you! Every where I looked I saw you, you where always there with me, for me, with your beautiful eyes always set on me, and your heart one with mine. Now, even though my eyes cannot see you any more, I know with absolute certainty that you are still and will forever be next to me to give me your infinite love, guide and wisdom. I will do everything I can to be worthy of that.
In your name, my Midnight, I have started a foundation to fund and promote research to fight cancer for dogs and for humans.
You know I made you a promise and I intend to keep it.
