Finished up my first (unintentional)solo trip in London. I was exhausted but sooo bricking happy to see @nyamarie and explore London through her guidance. Also to just speak English 🙈🤣😅

My Seville stay and Granada - Alahambra day trip were awe inspiring 🥹 It was the last stop on my Spain adventure and the place I felt most comfortable or maybe I just got use to being with myself 🤷🏾♀️. The tiles, the architecture, the food 👌🏾, the price of wine, the black and brown girls I met along the journey, the flamenco 💃🏾 the thrift stores…So great! I know Steve would have loved being there and I wanted nothing more but to share the beauty with him. I felt his presence a lot there. Would definitely go back especially since everyone gave me all the compliments and thought I was 19 🤣🤣🤣
Shall I repeat my 20s in Spain?
Sept ‘23 San Sebastián España
Tomé una clase de Español de immersion durante una semana. Empecé a entender un poco más y ganar confianza tratando de hablar.
San Sebastián and the immersion class was Steve’s dream I almost didn’t do it, but so happy I did. It’s so beautiful! The water is healing and the people I spent time with were joyous lights! I scattered some of mi amor there (I carried a bit of him throughout the trip idk iykyk some grief things only make sense to the person- it helped me so I did it) and it was really hard I had no plans of doing that but it just felt right when not much else did.
Madrid 🇪🇸 Aug ‘23
Soooooo this was last summer. I’ve decided to post some moments that were joyous that I created after Steve’s passing. Kind of/definitely for me as a reminder that I did a really hard thing when I was at my worse so I can continue doing this now. This feels like just the other day, so long ago & a completely different life ago all at the same time.
Madrid was stop 1 of our Spain adventure turned my Spain adventure. Almost didn’t make it past day two I was in such despair, but I stayed and had some really good food and great time with some cool people. Thank you all for making Madrid enjoyable 💃🏾🫶🏾

Been spending a lot of time planning the upcoming Garage to Greece retreat. So naturally I’m reflecting on the last time I was in Paros on @drishtiyogattc retreat in 2018 that gave me the time to focus on me.
2018 CB Growth: 1st yoga retreat • 1st time getting forearm stance. 1st and definitely not last time deciding to choose my happiness over some lil boy 🤣 1st time thinking I wanted to lead a retreat in the future!
Look at me now- Leading a retreat with people I love and bringing along a community of people who encourage me to grow authenticity.
