My second spooky glove🕷️ I’ve redone my Ariana design from a few years ago. Mesh gloves with 4 hand embroidered spiders on each glove. And a clip op the short version of the Ariana gloves with 1 spider🕷️✨ I missed an installment of my Glove of the week challenge a few weeks ago, so I made a long and short version this week to make up for it✨

So honored and blessed to have the one and only @mileycyrus wearing my Julietta gloves for @britishvogue 🥰✨ I found out Miley wore them in British Vogue while having a birthday dinner with my family - what a big surprise! Meet the maker! I figured it was about time I shared some more info about who I am - a ‘face behind the gloves’ so to speak. 🌸 Photos were taken by my sister @byjuliahermans - who is also next to me in the last slide! And how unreal, wearing the exact gloves that were recently worn by @mileycyrus 🤯

I made an attempt at working with (faux) leather! This is a quick sample I made this week, out of faux stretch leather. I completely forgot to film the process, so this weeks video is short! I will be moving into a new studio next week, so I’m trying to juggle working on orders, new designs, keeping on top of emails and administrative tasks AND packiup my entire studio. So grateful for my family for helping me get everything packed♥️

This week I got the chance to make my most classic design in almost every color in the rainbow! They are my Julietta gloves, and I can make them in almost any color possible ✨ I honestly can’t decide which color is my favorite- I’m leaning towards the Royal Blue ones but the Pink pair also has my heart💕 Which color is your favorite?

A cute little white pair of gloves this week! These would look so darling for a wedding🤍 I’ve been away for a few days on a much needed, mini holiday. Just spent my Sunday finishing up these cuties, working on orders and started preparing for my move in July! So excited to move to a bigger space (triple the size of my current studio!) The current tenant of my new space is so kind, she gave me the spare key so I can start moving my stuff over. It’s only an 8 minute walk from my home, so for the past few days I’ve been walking over to slowly move some of my supplies and furniture♥️

Meet Sabrina♥️ This fabric is so beautiful and soft! I’ve had it for a while, can’t believe I haven’t used it sooner. It also definitely gives me @bridgertonnetflix vibes! Sabrina Carpenter inspired glove transition✨💕 I don’t appear on camera very often but when I saw this trend on TikTok (the creator I saw it doing on TikTok was @olivia_sangster !) I knew I had to try it! The first pair of gloves I’m wearing is my velvet Natalia design, and the second pair is a pair that I created today! I had some gorgeous fabric that I thought fit the aesthetic of Sabrina’s Please Please Please video so perfectly (@sabrinacarpenter was styled beautifully by @ronnie_hart in the video clip!). So I’m happy to introduce you to my Sabrina gloves🎀 All gloves are of course handmade by me. I’m using a @charlottetilbury blush that was SO kindly gifted to me by @celine_bernaerts (who is the queen of transitions - she also inspired me to try one!)

I came across this audio and it perfectly captured how I imagine these gloves would sound if they could make a sound… the dripping beads on these gloves fit perfect with the sound! The gloves in the video is going to be featured in an episode of Glove of the Week very soon, keep an eye out!

*UPDATE* I have enough applications! I’m so excited to announce I will be hosting a two day glovemaking course this August! After an overwhelming response on one of my last reels, I decided to create a new programme hosting a course💕 Since this is the first time teaching this new programme, this edition will be offered with a reduced price! For those of you who are not near the Netherlands, don’t worry: an online programme is also in the works! I’m so exited for this new chapter in my career as a glovemaker, and I can’t wait to host this course!
