As in many other Surf Camps, the evening is for relaxing and enjoying with the people. The bonfire was the main thing every night, but some drinks were available and some activities even (like family Trivial or those kind of games).
On the other side, you can just have a movie night, because Surf's Up is not just for kids 🌊🐧
With this landscape for once I was missing a drone to make a shot from the air, with the tents, the bonfire, the sunset, and everyone around... But 🙈

My story with the skate is long and full of wounds and injuries 😅. Still having one from Ericeira skatepark 😔
But these guys were introducing the kids very nicely to the sport, and for sure the mini-ramp was an important part of the camp.
Even the staff was spending a lot of time on it, Karel on the pictures (@kaja_pivna ), who was my model for many situations this week 😜 as well as my end-season dinner date as well 🥰.
Not even 1 minute on the ramp for me tho, I like flat spaces, but the guys were having so much fun on it, and this was.my way to support that 🙌🏻

Real action is always over fake posing right? It's that simple, but sometimes it's not happening what you want to see happening.
My choice: make it happen naturally, bait for the action, promote the action.
The other day a friend, Martin, was asking me if there are many things in my head about photography that comes naturally to my mind that everyone else would be ignoring.
Someone say the word "bonfire" 🔥 and I was already thinking if 35mm or 24mm.
At this photo was the same, I saw the spot with the slackline and no one at first, and I was already thinking about which moment of the day could be better for this shot. Then I met the person and finally I baited the action.
There are things in my mind, but nothing important 😬

Welcome to my life, 2 months without posting, leaving some stuff in the middle... Well, it's me being me 😅
This time we used the space of the tents to create a group environment and show how spacious the tents are and how good the light is inside. Also Tim changing the fins of his girlfriend's surfboard as a good way of die 🔪 by my request, feel sorry!
Tents are not always perfect and that was a good lesson for a perfectionist person as I am: Camp life is different and it has to be 😊
And hands up 🙌🏻 to my 24mm lens that worked amazing but I think I'm going to replace it soon.
