Food is responsible for 1/3 of global greenhouse gas emissions. Fixing the food system helps solve the problem.
That’s why the Bezos Earth Fund has committed $1 billion to transform food systems. At COP28 we announced ambitious grants to address the future of food through game-changing technology that will:
➡️ Reduce livestock emissions
➡️ Enable cattle traceability
➡️ Protect tropical forests
“We don’t need to cut down forests to raise cattle,” says @earth_andy , Future of Food Director at the @BezosEarthFund . “We need leaders of countries committing to transform our food systems.”
