Tonight, I had a blast in the metaverse at ArTech Gallery on @spatial_io attending the digital exhibition “L’opera d’arte nell’epoca dell’Intelligenza Artificiale.” This virtual extension of the exhibition, originally held at Palazzo Pigorini and Torrione Visconteo, features AI-focused artworks curated by @chiaracanaliart @rebecca_pedrazzi and @davide_sarchioni The exhibition explores AI’s role in art through videos, digital artworks, and physical pieces, touching on themes like nature, humanity, dreams, and mythology. Inspired by Walter Benjamin’s essay “The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction,” the exhibition showcases how AI is transforming artistic creation and consumption. We had the privilege of witnessing the captivating Fashion Show of @naba , “Stitching Words,” a visionary theme by Nicoletta Morozzi. This event explored language as a profound means of connection, with fashion emerging as a universal tongue. The collections by 30 talented BA Fashion Design students brought this concept to life, each piece a testament to the powerful chemistry between garments and their wearers. On the runway, 120 meticulously crafted creations, selected by a discerning jury of NABA Alumni, journalists, and industry professionals, told their unique stories. These designs, rich in narrative and creativity, wove together words and emotions into stunning visual art. The final presentation, with the direction and artistic vision of Paolo Bazzani, showcased the exceptional talent and innovative spirit of our students. Accompanied by the evocative sounds curated by the @cpmmusicinstitute , this fashion show was a beautiful symphony of style and substance. We at RED-EYE really loved @jw_anderson co-ed Spring Summer 2025 collection. The show invitation, a T-shirt reading “REAL SLEEP,” hinted at the cozy theme. Guests were welcomed into a dreamy setting and a bedtime vibe. The collection featured quilted coats in cream, pink, and navy, oversized bombers, structural denim dresses, ruffled jackets, and belted jorts. Glossy puffed hoodies, sprouting boots, knee-length neckties, and folded silk textiles added dramatic flair. We attended the co-ed Spring Summer 2025 show by @simoncracker and discovered the profound meaning behind the title “Una Questione di Principio” (A Matter of Principle). The design duo @simone.botte and @buffalo_stance drew inspiration from the book “Knots” (1970) by psychologist Ronald D. Laing, using knots as a sartorial technique. This reflects the psychological intricacies of human relationships, symbolized by the entanglement and constraints of fabric pieces, drawstrings, and laces. The collection features four “nervous” colors: black, shades of navy blue, acid green, and purple, creating an intentional effect of incorrect dyeing, which began last season. This palette enhances the psychological tension and depth of the designs. As highlighted by the creative duo, this collection is dedicated to children who are victims of rigid principles, emphasizing the psychological impact and the importance of listening and understanding. Finally, last night we celebrated the 90th anniversary of @canali at the prestigious Sala Delle Cariatidi in Palazzo Reale, marking the culmination of our hard work on this beautiful project. Along with @martromeo we had the privilege of tutoring a talented group of students at @naba to co-create an extraordinary video with AI: “Canali Horizons: A Journey from Heritage to Tomorrow.” This AI co-created artwork celebrates Canali’s 90th anniversary by interpreting the brand’s evolution from its historical roots to its future aspirations, highlighting Canali’s enduring elegance and style. It begins with a serene aerial view of Brianza, leading to an abstract journey through Canali’s past, present, and future. From black-and-white imagery symbolizing the past to a futuristic city intertwined with nature, the narrative encapsulates Canali’s legacy and forward-thinking vision. The soundtrack also co-created with AI, enhances the immersive experience.
