Many have called her strong over the past year but that’s an oversimplification. She is resilient and always has been. A generational trait, passed down from her mother, that I can only hope to embody one day. It brings me immense joy to be her daughter—similar to the joy I felt when she’d cave and let me drink gatorade on game day.
