COSMIC FRENZY is an editorial that draws inspiration from a painting by Polish artist Wladyslaw Podkowinski "Frenzy Of Exultations" (1893). It’s a project that delves into the meaning of FRENZY in the post-napoleonic era, which was a common theme in art, literature and philosophy, often seen as a disturbance of the mind and a symbol of tyranny. This work connects FRENZY to the vastness of our subconscious mind. The story follows a woman’s journey from darkness to search for her inner frenzy. Starting in a dark place, she evolves into a realm of pleasure. Each character in the story represents different aspects of the human experience. It’s a surrealistic story that uses allegory to delve into trauma and personal experience. Read the full story and poems via @numero_netherlands 10th issue, now available in stores 🤍 (link in bio to purchase it).
