Perfect homemade Moong Sprouts 😊 Instructions - - soak moong overnight - next day, strain out the water and leave it for 15 mins - take the sprouts maker and add soaked Moong in two trays (do not overfill each tray) - close the lid nicely and let it rest for about 1.5 to 2 days and perfect sprouts will be ready. - once done, remove it and store in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge. It will be good to use for about a week. Ep 29 - Tiffin ideas - Wholesome filling parathas with the goodness of chickpeas , but mini sized for my munchkins!! U won’t believe how fast these get gobbled up! Ingredients - 🔹Chickpea - 1/2 cup (boiled & mashed) 🔹Potato - 2 (boiled & mashed) 🔹Onion - 1 (small, finely chopped) 🔹Ginger & green chilli - 1 tsp 🔹Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp 🔹Hing - 1/8th tsp 🔹Oil/ghee for cooking 🔹Spices - salt, red chilli powder, garam masala & aamchur powder. Instructions - 🔹In a pan, add oil/ghee & once it's hot add mustard seeds, hing, green chilli & ginger. Saute for a min and add onion. Cook for 2-3 mins. 🔹Now add rest of the ingredients, mix well and cook for 3-4 mins and remove it from flame. 🔹Now roll a chapati, add filling and spread it evenly. Ep 28 - Tiffin ideas - Cheesy Veggies Rawa Balls and with this we have given some makhanas and tomato ketchup. Ingredients - 🔹Rawa/Suji - 3/4th cup (roasted) 🔹Potato - 2 (boiled and mashed or grated) 🔹Cheese - 2 cubes (grated) 🔹Milk - 1/2 cup 🔹Veggies - 1/2 cup (combined - Onion, peas & carrot) 🔹Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp 🔹Ginger, garlic & green chilli - 2 tsp 🔹Salt - as per taste 🔹Italian seasoning - 2 tsp 🔹Butter/oil - for cooking. Instructions - 🔹In a pan add oil and once it's hot, add ginger, garlic and green chilli and saute for a min. Now add milk and keep stirring continuously. Once it starts boiling, add cheese and keep stirring. 🔹Then add onion, peas, carrot and keep stirring for 2 to 3 mins. Now add salt and oregano, followed by coriander leaves and potato. Mix everything nicely and lastly add Suji/Rawa and keep stirring to avoid lumps. 🔹Once suji starts leaving the pan, it means the mixture is ready so remove it from the flame and let it cool down. 🔹Now take the mix and give desired shape and cook from all sides and the cutlets/veggies balls are ready. Ingredients - 🔹Potatoes - 2 (boiled & mashed) 🔹Bread - 6 to 8 slices. 🔹Green peas - 1/4th cup (blanched) 🔹Bell pepper - 2 tbsp 🔹Onion - 1 small 🔹Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp 🔹Ginger and Green chilli - 1/2 tbsp 🔹Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp (for coating) 🔹Oil/butter 🔹Salt, pepper and Italian seasoning Instructions - Mash potatoes and green peas. Mix the rest of the veggies and spices and mix it well. Cut bread in the desired shape or simply keep it plain. Now take bread and apply potato filling and then sesame seeds on the top. Highly nutritious and melt in the mouth goodness!! Ingredients for Sattu ke Ladoo - 🔹Sattu - 2 cups 🔹Dry fruits - 1 cup (finely chopped - almonds, cashew and pistachios) 🔹Ghee - 1/2 cup (add 1 or 2 tbsp more only if needed) 🔹Jaggery powder - 1/4 th cup (if you like it sweeter, add more) 🔹Cardamom powder - 1 tsp Instructions - ✅Take a kadhai, add ghee and sattu. Roast it on low flame till you can feel the aroma of roasted sattu or the colour changes slightly . ✅Now add chopped dry fruits to the sattu mix and start roasting again on little high flame and once the colour starts turning light brown, add cardamom powder, mix and remove it from stove and transfer to a big plate. ✅Let it cool down and come to room temperature. Once done, add jaggery and make ladoos and enjoy! Not only for kids but even we can even have these super tasty waffles 😊 Ingredients for waffles - 🔹Moong dal - 1 cup (soaked for 4 hours) 🔹Paneer - 3/4th cup 🔹Veggies of choice - 1/2 cup (finely chopped) 🔹Salt - as per taste 🔹Ginger and green chilli 🔹Saunf - 1 tsp 🔹Hing - 1/8th tsp 🔹Salt - as per taste 🔹Besan - 2 tbsp (only if batter is runny) 🔹Red chilli powder - optional 🔹Cumin powder - 1 tsp 🔹Fruit salt - 1 tsp (ENO) 🔹Curd - 1/4th cup 🔹Water to grind - only if needed. 🔹Oil/Butter to make waffles. Instructions - 🔹Soak Moong dal for 3 to 4 hours. Once that's done, wash it nicely and add it to a mixer jar with paneer, green chilli, ginger, curd, hing, salt and saunf and make a fine paste. 🔹To this prepared dal batter add chopped veggies, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, ENO, besan and fresh coriander leaves.
