Grand Rising Beloveds! I'm excited about this video. First let me explain that I over came a few fears while on this shoot. One is the fear of letting go. The second is the fear of deep water, even though it wasn't that deep. But the third fear was to be vulnerable in front of others. I always gotta be in control and during this shoot, I let go. Water represents a few things. One is the subconscious mind. One is birth, rebirth, baptism, cleansing. To me this photo shoot represented a rebirth or transformation of sorts. Without getting too deep, but I might anyway because it is what it is. I was a new person when I rose out of the cenote. Literally and symbolically. I went in and did it scared. And rose above my fears and my insecurities. This shoot was not easy, I had to go and take a nap after. I cried while watching this video, because I never saw me like this before. I cried tears of joy and gratitude. I am beautiful. I am a goddess. I am love. I want to give a special thank you to Fran LaReina from
@cenote_portraits for educating me and making me feel special and safe. I want to give a special thank you to
@marcos.ansaldi for making and editing this video so beautifully capturing all the good. Thank you
@sharonalexandrapalmacuevas for my beautiful waterproof mermaid makeup. Thank you
@greece_c for coaching me on how to breathe out before going under, and for transporting me around the cenote. You guys are so special and you have a gift, I so happy I found you! Words cannot express what you all did for me. I give you all hugs and kisses. Oh, I forgot to mention that Fran wore a suit under water(I don't know what they're called) but the brand was Yemaya! This trip to Tulum was definitely transformative. I also have to shout out
@nubiankinksnyc for getting my hair ready for the trip.
@hennamotifsnyc for my beautiful jagua tattoo and
@heidisnaillab for my beautiful nails. Y'all got me right for Tulum. I will see you all again very soon.
