I’m willing to give up many things but not myself, because if I lose myself, I lose everything”. Firm determination on the part of Edoardo Marreu, a young Sardinian artist who, right from the start of our meeting, has been able to convey all the cheerfulness of his land, telling his story openly, sharing his experiences of life and, above all, of Venere Bionda (“Blonde Venus”). “Blondeness” is his trademark, the emblem of a transepochal beauty that encapsulates the essence of a person as stubborn as he is true to himself. His long blonde hair has always been a source of ridicule and bullying, but his respect for his identity has overcome discrimination and social pressure. A personality, therefore, that is not only full of art and talent, but above all of a great moral lesson: we must be aware of our own nature, because only the full totality of our ego will determine our being in the world.
