The Rider jacket is one of the most exquisite pieces in this season’s collection with its rugged and cool look. Crafted by hand using a gorgeous nappa leather sourced from Tuscany, it has a smooth, grainless texture. Meanwhile, the design itself is sleek and considered, with just a jetted chest pocket with zipper adding detail on the front, crescent cuffs and a western-inspired yoke on the back. Over the weekend, we presented our SS25 collection in Milano, showcasing a series of looks inspired by the past and with modern interpretations of classic style. From supple suedes to lightweight and robust technical fabrics that bring the best out of outerwear, the collection underlines our unrelenting appreciation for modern menswear, luxury materials and Made in Italy manufacturing. We take enourmous amounts of pride in the quality of our leathers, which is why we work exclusively with a select few Tuscan tanneries provide us with the perfect skins. Whilst classic hues tick our boxes, we're especially drawn to summery tones such as this butter yellow lamb suede. It's easy on the eye, vibrant and charming. #Valstar

Workwear from the 20th century is an endless source of inspiration for us at Valstar, as the most minute details and niche fabrications are a joy to play with. Inspired by a piece in our archive, one of our favourite fabrics this season is this stretch cotton poplin; it’s lightweight and breathable, with a cool handle and a touch of stretch due to a slither of elastane. #Valstar

The spring/summer season shouldn’t be limited to neutral hues and pleasing pastel tones. Providing the fabrication is correct, mixing more muted, rustic colours, as seen here with one of our workwear staples, works just as well.
