SCHIAPARELLI | Couture FW24 | Paris Under Daniel Roseberry’s creative direction, Schiaparelli opened Haute Couture Week FW24 at the historic Salomon de Rothschild hotel, where guests entered through a hidden door into a velvet-draped stage. Titled “The Phoenix,” the collection draws inspiration from the multifaceted life of Elsa Schiaparelli, from her aristocratic childhood in Rome to her artistic rebirths in the United States and Paris. The show evoked a sense of freedom, with the gentle rhythm of water movements projected onto large screens creating a captivating ambiance. DRIES VAN NOTEN | SS25 | Paris Reflecting on our first show together in Paris back in 1991, Villa Eugénie is honored to have organized Dries Van Noten’s final bow as the designer of the namesake fashion house. Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted by a cube-like structure displaying clips from Van Noten’s previous runway shows, as well as of the designer working with his atelier and team. The enchanting set, adorned with a silver carpet reminiscent of the gold set from DVN FW06-07, reunited models from day one and Dries’ fashion family to reflect on contemporary elegance, and the passing of time: thinking beyond what has come before and look towards the future. Through a daring sense of color harmonies in unusual combinations, subtle transparency, graphic leaves and delicate flowers, Dries leaves us with wonderful memories that we will forever cherish. As the show concluded to a standing ovation, the cube-like structure unveiled a 6-meter disco ball to celebrate the designer’s acclaimed career.
