When @thefacemagazine asked me to shoot @la.horde I didn’t think much and just made my way to Marseille. Spilled coffee on my jacket; original taxi ride to the Ballet National de Marseille.
There’s a magic watching the Dancers. First moment how they breath, the first step they make. The aura of a room transforms into something quite indescribable - their movements talk about everything. I was trying to give a different angle about the magic and how every single dancer was moving that day when I arrived in Marseille. I was just observing. Watching @marinebrutti , @arthurharel and @jonathan.debrouwer guide their beautiful dancers into what the spirit of (LA) HORDE is was a true pleasure.
Every person I met that day were true legends. I hope the fragments of how I experienced them then will be how you experience them now.
