Here is my second Disney kid. This is Athena, the second born daughter of Ariel and Eric and Melody’s little sister. - She was born nine months after the events of ‘Return of the Sea’ and both the families of the land and sea were extremely happy at the news of Athena’s arrival (especially now that Ursula’s legacy has vanquished and that both kingdoms can usher in an era of peace) and were overjoyed to learn that Ariel named her after their late queen. As Athena grows older, she loves to follow her big sister, Melody, along in all of her adventures and Melody is always happy to have her by her side. In fact, it is because of their half-mermaid heritage and the stories that her family has told her over the years that Athena’s love for the ocean is strong, just like Melody’s is. And just like her mother, she loves singing and belting out tunes for the entire kingdom to hear.
