The Balcones Artist in Residence is a new initiative formed to empower artists to transcend traditional studios and create artwork that showcases their interpretation of bold, free-thinking, reinvention, and embracing the magnetic sense of creative possibility that comes from expressing your full self.
The mural installation and ceramic used refined shapes balanced with sharp and rounded symbols of nature, emanating a dreamlike homage to the volatile Texas climate where Balcones whisky is made.
