I almost called this one “Caterpillar Ghost Shrine” inspired by a friend’s interpretation but it made me think of unrealized potential and spirits that are too cute. This little painting is one of many for an upcoming solo exhibition this August at @maiacontemporary in Mexico City. For inquiries please contact info@maiacontemporary.com
MH-1 (Migration Home 1)
“MH-1 (Migration Home 1) is a conceptual human-powered mobile home designed to provide autonomy for users living within the escalating environmental challenges of the 21st century. A mode of transportation, a protected place to sleep and store the essentials of life. A home to take to a new land, paddle across a border or live on the rising oceans. A tool for the times.”
Constructed with Brian De La Cerda and @spenserlittleart . Photos by me and Brian De La Cerda
