What does a torn quad and detached hip have to do with the 9th tallest mountain the world?
Nothing really. Except in my head I spose’.
May of 22’ I had one of the scarier injuries I’ve ever had. While playing soccer, I snapped and detached my quad from my hip.
I couldn’t walk, couldn’t lift my leg at all. Total paralysis. I was fuc**** terrified. It made me realize I can’t take this shit for granted (life). So I decided no more waiting.
I was gonna rehab and get back to the same base camp I was at 11 years ago, November 2012, with @m4ttscott_ : Annapurna base camp
So this November, I’m headed back to Nepal, this time with a WIFE and my DAD. Crazy.

Giving me confidence to achieve great things that I’m proud of, but more importantly not turning your back on me when I’ve done things I’m not proud of.
