To celebrate 10 years of FLOOR_STORY rug collaborations, we’re launching a new edition of the White Noise hand knotted rug designed by @camillewalala
‘Pink Noise’, is used to help drown out background noise to improve focus and help with better sleep. These associations felt like the perfect combination for a new tonal colourway.
Shapes are defined through deep carving and knotting techniques making the design really pop with the way light and shade plays with the textural detail.

Is everyone likes an Axo view of the Maze qd much as I do??! 🌈🤓 📐 ( it looks almost fake 🫨🫨💓💓)
🟣🔺🟧🔹 When we’re children, we experience the world in a whirlwind of colours and shapes. Everything is new and exciting. 🟣🔺🟧🔷
But as we get older, we become jaded, we take things for granted – even things as wonderful as colour. With A- MAZE, I want to take people back to a state where everything they see is new and surprising – to tap into that state of playfulness, joy and discovery that we leave behind as adults.” 🟣🔺🟧🔹
Spanning an area of 3,500 sq ft, the vibrant maze resonates with the landscape of Hong Kong, just like the “Hong Kong” City Sign.
Its predominant colours are inspired by the hues of blue and purple from Victoria Harbour, accentuated by vibrant geometric patterns, and for course I always have to incorporate the other classic primary colours of red, yellow too. 🟣🔺🟧🔹
Unlike traditional mazes, the walls shift in height, adorned with a variety of cut-outs and windows. This thoughtful design offer glimpses of the path ahead, allowing visitors to navigate through the layered maze, enhancing interaction among visitors within the installation. 🟣🔺🟧🔹
Open now at Harbour City
Very excited to show a new body of work launching during Hong Kong’s Art Week . 🇭🇰 👀 🖼️
My first ever solo exhibition “Metropolis” hosted at Harbour City gallery will be on show until the 20th of April.
I have drawn my inspiration from the architectural aesthetics found in cities, incorporating their textures, details and forms.
My love for the vibrancy, dynamic energy and layer upon layer of buildings that contribute to the Hong Kong skyline are interpreted in these compositions.
HERE WE GO! So proud of this one! 🥳❣️💫🏋🏼
My first ever permanent sculptural piece and Hong Kong’s first ever official sign!
“Now you see it, Now you don’t” Is a 7metre long, 3 metre high anamorphic sculpture. 👀👆🏼 🇭🇰
I wanted to create something that was more than just letters.
I wanted to bring the complexity and energy of
Hong Kong to my piece. An ever changing, high octane city that makes me vibrate whenever I visit.
A city that fills me with inspiration and delicious food!
Not only is it my first ever permanent work, I also have my first ever solo show of fine art and my first ever outdoor maze, being shown alongside the sign.
A trilogy of firsts!
Planet Walala is on show for the next month. Until the 21st of April.
Thank you so much to @harbourcity for bringing me to Hong Kong to realise this project and entrusting me with something so special. 💫💫💫
And a special thanks to @pearyeung , Vi and Maisy for being a dream to work with.
I feel humbled to be exhibiting my work in the same location as some of my artist heroes. The likes of @jr , @jaimehayon , @yayoikusama_
and @kaws to name a few.
I’m so happy to have been invited to create “Planet Walala @HarbourCity ” a triptyque of colourful public art projects.
❤️👀 🏙️ 💥
One of the art installations is Hong Kong’s first city sign, “Now You See It Now You Don’t.” Which has been permanently installed. You can only see “HONG KONG”🇭🇰 from a specific angle and distance, so be sure to experience it in person and take a photo!👀
