Collectors and friends - old and new.
Much time talking about paintings (& tattoos).
Only had to say “yes that is my surname” about a dozen times.
And ended with a wonderful Mother’s Day treat.
Thank you to all who made this such a fun weekend.
@mcrartfair feels like its gone in a flash. Im now home reflecting on an amazing few days. Full of gratitude for those new buyers who took my work home with them, so lovely to meet you all, hear your stories and connect through art. All the browsers who stopped by. Friends from villages back home near Whitby. Most of all thankyou to my art fair family old and new who gave support, giggles, advice and who make this tricky art journey a richer experience. Creating work and being brave enough to hang it, and represent yourself, in an environment where there are hundreds of other artists is a bit like getting naked. Potential for those highs but equally can make you very vulnerable. Big shout out on my stories for those artists who were just amazing to see- please follow, like, share. The value of these art fair investments can extend beyond the event.
Last but not least Steve Calvert, man with the drill, infinitely patient, talented in many ways but a legend at juggling PV drinks.
To the man who saw me cry as I was wandering around the NCP car park at take down…because I couldn’t find my car. Sorry about that 🥴. And to the other person who saw me trying to get in the front seat of my car with about a 4 inch gap between the door and the wall, yes you probably can’t unsee that either 🤦♀️❤️

Wow! What a weekend we’ve had at the opening of the 2023 Peacock Arts Trail.
We’ve had such lovely feedback from visitors about the quality of work, the engagement with artists, of how much they have been looking forward to this returning.
The arts trail continues throughout the week and into next weekend.
Do check out our website for up to date opening times, some artists are not open during certain days in the week (and there have been a few changes since we pressed print on our brochure). All artists will be open next weekend.
There are many venues out of the centre of Corsham; so this week we will be highlighting some that may not be on your radar - hidden gems not to be missed.
