finally got around to editing this shoot I did with my gorgeous friend @paton_maddie ❣ I will be spamming my grid with these as there's a few different sections of the shoot & i'm very happy with the result :-)

@eljay.psd and I put a lot of love into this project and created branding and a publicaiton for a hypothetical film festival named ‘OPIA’.
A brief description of the OPIA if you’d like to read more – “OPIA is a film festival that explores the use of red and teal in the thriller genre over the past four decades. This cinematic colourway frequently found in these films elicits certain emotions explored within the genre, helping to set the atmosphere and aiding storytelling.
This palette is akin to the spectrum of a form of colourblindness named Tritanopia; hence the name, Opia, meaning ‘specified condition or defect of the visual organs’, both playing into the gory aspects of the thriller genre and the heavy use of these colours.
Starting with the invite package, the festival is designed to immerse the attendees from their doorstep, into the event and beyond the date, with exciting collectables and a publication to keep proudly on their bookshelf.”

I’m a little bit late posting this, but I want to give a huge thanks to @gfsmithpapers for choosing my design as one of the final 10, to visually accompany @father_insta_ !!re!!_039;s lovely soundscape album, Portal. The piece was made to promote @colorplan_papers ’ new range, and reflects each of the 55 colours in the line.
It was so exciting to be a part of the process and hold a piece of my work at the end in the context of a vinyl cover.
My approach somehow led into digital illustration, which isn’t something I typically explore, but felt fitting as on my first listen to the project, a piece of art work by one of my favoutire artists Terrance Warren came to mind, I felt that I had to reference it somehow.
