It was a blast being part of the Gowanus Art Parade by @artsgowanus ! My costume is based on different aspects of my characters outfits in my AER HEAD comic. The result is I kinda look like a 90s pirate😂 Still fits the aquatic theme! I made a replica of Aer’s surfboard & was twirling it at the front of the parade!My friend @gracesix_art made these awesome AER HEAD earrings too! Had a blast discovering new art & talking with other artists on the last day of @theotherartfair ! Here’s my top 5! I forgot my phone that day so slightly blurry subway pics of business cards will have to do😂 🐋 The coolest thing I experienced was what I dubbed “The Jellyfish Peep Show”! @havilahabrego is a marine biologist & paints jellyfish that glow in the dark! What’s behind the mysterious curtain?? Check out her work to find out! 🛸 I had an awesome conversation about aliens & spirituality with @herlovelyface Her work really captured me with otherworldly vibes! 🐱 I got to TOUCH THE ART of @yuckplanet ! He makes these rugs -“tufted “ like your bathroom rug, but with funny animals on them! 🌎 I was fascinated by @rojoroach tiny planets! He uses a fisheye lens to push & pull landscapes with dazzling effects! 🌊 I loved the water effects & stunning blue color of @georgiamertonart ! Surfers & fans of my AER HEAD comic are sure to like her art! 🎨 Very inspiring seeing these & many more talented artists!
