This morning, my family and I had a very special event that we have been coming to since I was a little girl. The Livonia Police Department, which is also where my dad is a law enforcement officer, had it’s 25th annual Passport to Safety event. Which has been a crucial and beneficial way to bring awareness to safety situations. This event not only spreads awareness but also brings law enforcement officers and communities together. Which is the foundation of my platform “Hugs for Heroes” I had the privilege of working with my dad at the bike safety station, where they teach little kids the importance of riding their bikes in a safe manner to prevent accidents!💙🖤
I also had the pleasure of Meeting the Head Board member of the Livonia First Responder Foundation where I was awarded a scholarship to help further my education next year!
