Charlie 🖤🤍🐈⬛ I always knew I loved animals but you taught me to be obsessed with cats. You’re our good luck sweet baby, Charla- bean. We will sing your special songs and miss you always… I know you’re a little ghost cat and I can imitate your meow perfectly because we had so much time to practice. I’ll miss your constant purr and your kitten mittens, your pure little heart. The trio is incomplete without you, Charles.

so I worked for many years as a teacher and I loved it, but I also look back upon those years and realize how tired I was because I was constantly surrounded by people. Now I work from home and I’m soo grateful but it can be very lonesome at times. It’s hard not to get depressed over the ✨perfect balance✨ I just can’t seem to achieve. But- I’m learning that there are little glittering gems in my everyday existence and I look for them…
Here’s what’s making me happy today: an @esteelauder makeup bag turned into a pencil pouch for my glitter gel pens (the same brand I had when I was a kid- and loved) @gellyrollph - a beautiful floral resin keychain ‘K’ from my sister (she gave me little gifts on Mother’s Day for being the best auntie, I literally 🥲🥲🥲🥲) as well as a monarch butterfly planner book from @schneideraf@punchstudiohq & stickers from Saratoga comic con - I loved stickers as a child.. still do. Also, martini cozy blanket from Joseph 🍸I’m calling this romantic version of my life “Petal life” and it means delicate, natural and beautiful 🌸 I want everyone to do petal life too 💖 I had a lovely conversation with @princessllb and we decided it’s high time for everyone to dig in and romanticize 🌹

but someone once said to me “you could go your whole life without knowing all the plants in your own backyard.” This was when I expressed my desire to be a Botanist/potions witch if the “grid” ever went down 🍄🫣
It really struck me though. So, to begin the categorization; these are the flowers I gathered from the garden today (left to right, swipe) I’ll be damned if I’m going to live and die on this planet and not even know the names of the plants living in my own yard 🌱
