Lake Xochimilco, a vibrant natural gem, faces threats like pollution and urbanization. But we can make a difference!
Join us in protecting the axolotl with projects like awareness though art, biofilters, reforestation, and sustainable farming. Your donation or volunteer time can help save this amazing species.

I keep thinking I’m gonna start writing long self-critical musings about art and commerce in the cross section we call “Web3.” Then I delete everything and write something equal parts self deprecating and belittling so I can avoid giving anyone I love or respect an opportunity to criticize how I’ve chosen to express myself and earn something resembling monetary comfort.
Then I delete that because being vulnerable as an anonymous cartoon character on the internet seems silly.
Anyway…this is Flea. Flea will visit you in your dreams.
Been a big year.
Selling art wasn’t really on my bingo card for life. Now it’s how I get to sustain myself. Feels surreal. And now I know I’ll never give it up.
Only time my mind is calm lately. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and ADHD. Never making enough time for art. Always feeling guilty about how I’m spending my time. But when it all comes together and I can shut my mind off long enough to complete something, I start to feel whole for a few moments. I will be trying to feel whole much more in ‘24.
Cheers to the process, gratitude for the muse. ❤️
