We closed the same night we opened, except Broadway Bares weekend we are reminded to leave our hearts open for long after. Bares also feels like the true beginning of Pride. Hundreds of volunteers doing the work to help our community & party after the hard work—to me that shows activism at its best & we have to fight & work hard to keep our freedoms… we get to do it with love & joy.
Every single person in has their reason for participating & we leave with more reasons to come back.

@elliottmattox was a literal champion leading our team to the top fundraising team for the Stripathon contest by pushing fundraising. We followed & did the work to all have raised a minimum & to continue raising thereafter.
The camaraderie of this team was superb. The love, the sass, the joy, the a**… it felt like we had the key to a successful fundraising season. & each member of the team was a reason to say, “try the gay stuff, it’s delicious.” 🕯️our leads Elliott &
