EVOLUTION SEBii VVSS2 Breakdown 1 Reference Video made from clips of various Digimon cut and speed ramped together. I actually edited this on a Discord call live with SEBii. Shoutout @y2_kyle for the Crazy VV Mech 3D Models. 2 I watched a 20 minute compilation of “Every Transformation from Transformers: Animated”. We stole the speed lines and glimmer effect and combined it with a sketch from SEBii for the opening shot. 3 Combining light trails, shape keys and particle systems to replicate the style of Digimon evolutions. 4 Displacement, curves and particles to build the blast. Lots of glows. LOTS of glows. Scrub through to see a few impact frames. 5 83 Layers of Sound Effects in DaVinci Resolve. 6 The List. I don’t know how it ripped. 7 SEBii and I first met in Jan 2023 when we stayed together in Paris for 4 days.
